This year we are happy to announce the 2019 scholarship winner. Meet Sarah! We surprised her with a phone call to tell her she won, which was a lot of fun!
About the 2019 Scholarship Winner
Sarah is in college at Saint Louis University and is a triplet! As you can imagine, with three siblings in school, all at the same time, she had a great financial need. She also has an exceptionally high GPA, which was a huge factor in why we selected her as the 2019 scholarship winner.
This is our third annual Future U.S. Nurse Scholarship. Each year we give $2,000 to one nursing student, and this is a really special way for us to continue our mission to connect nurses to jobs in the United Sates. To apply for the scholarship, nursing students submitted a selfie video in which they told us why they wanted to be a nurse and how $2,000 would impact their lives. From there, they did a social media competition where the public could vote on who they thought was most deserving of the scholarship.
